Adding Gradient to an object

Again this is done in photofiltre
Open your picture and click on the grayscale icon to make your picture black and white.
Now use the polygon tool and select the part you want to gradient.
Now, click on the gradient button. change the style to duotone and change the direction to left to right choose your 2 colors and make sure the opacity is 50% on both of them and then click ok
then go to adjust>brightness/contrast to make it stand out more or go to adjust>hue/saturation
now your done. mine that i did is below
